Hi, checked the S/N:DS019Q003774 and found that it is over the free update period. So no car software. We may need to pay another yearly update service to get the download access.

 Hi, do you have backup of the original SD card or software? If yes, then you can copy it to the new SD card to use again. Otherwise you'll have to buy new update. Thanks!

  I noticed your screen name that you have, it appears  you might be an authorized dealer of the tools and get some preferential treatment , but you made the mistake of telling support that it is YOUR OWN Personal  tool , not a Customer of yours , so I think that if it is over the one year  update period and you never made a back up of your software , you might be SOL unless you post a picture of your sister and support sends you a copy of the old software so you'll  take the picture down :-(---

LOL,  at least you have a sense of humor. I  believe I made a backup of the  original 4 GB software card  as shipped out of box  , as soon as I opened up the case. I never actually installed the original 4gb card in the unit ever and powered my unit up with it in it. I just copied the contents of it  to a 16 GB card and powered up the unit with the copied contents on a new 16gb card , then registered the unit and updated it.
  I'm not sure , but if the card that shipped with my unit is virgin software . I never powered my DS 708 , so if no one pre tested the card in it  before I got it , I don't see why this software isn't still in it's virgin form unmarried to any  specific DS 708  serial number and might be able to work in another DS 708 to get it going, but it would have software they were putting on the cards  late in  2012 .
